Interested in Coaching or enhancing existing qualifications?

There are a number of coaching courses being advertised on the England Athletic Web Site. The Club does have some money allocated for training so an application can be made to the BMHAC committee for approval if you are interested.

Clubs policy on obtaining funding for Coaching / Official courses

1) It is expected that the participant will apply for a bursary from the Local Sports Council before undertaking the course if the cost is more than £30.0. This requires the attached form to be submitted to the LSC prior to the course followed by proof of completion before they release any grant cheque. This form can also be downloaded from www.basingstoke.gov.uk/leisure/sport/development Contact Sue parker on 01256 845685 for further information.
 
2) The LSC will normally pay up to half the cost of the course up to a maximum of £50, including transport costs. The Club will top up the remaining cost of coaching courses using the outstanding UKA grant money, We have also budgeted this year to assist with the cost of official's courses.
 
3) Applicants should claim travel costs in the first instance from the LSC but the Club will consider requests for assistance at the rate of 20p per mile.
 
4) Requests for reimbursement of course fees and travel costs should be made to the Treasurer using the cheque request form. Click for Cheque Request Form
