National Junior League Portsmouth Sunday 27th May

At one of the wettest athletics meetings  The Basingstoke / Winchester Andover Team put up a creditable performance to finish 4th last Sunday.
Conditions were not contusive to fast times or any really good performance. The competition provided a useful opportunity to try out new race tactics and a time to try some new techniques.
A few U 17 athletes were competing at the South of England championships so were unavailable for this meeting.

The 100mHurdles were cancelled due to the poor conditions so Frankie had bad luck travelling all the way from Andover to find her event cancelled.

4x100m Relay managed to get the baton around for the first time this year 4th48.9

The Hurdles and Poole Vault high scoring events for us were cancelled due to the conditions as it was deemed too dangerous for the athletes.
