National Junior League Brighton July 29th 2007

Well done to all who competed. There were some excellent pbs

Richard Fox in the Pole vault
Nick Bates in the 400mHurdles
Duncan Stevenson in the 400m
Stephen Reid in the 800m

Not forgetting the good all round performances of Robbie Kite Jack Bolton and Tom Fright in many events.

It was good to see that has Max Roberts returned from injury.Tom Mc Kellar continues to make steady progress as does Joe Flitcroft, Sam Sleap and Tom Cropp provide  consistent reliable performances

Andover’s athletes made a significant addition to the points total with yet another excellent distance performance from Phil Bernstein and some good sprints from Richard Pitcher and James Foulkes

In the Womens team, those who performed put in some considerable effort. Both Laura Wright and India Lee (Winchester ) made their welcomed debut in this league this season. Ruth McKellar  has made  all four matches this season in the sprints and Georgina Neame made up the quartet in the quarter mile event.

Overall subject to confirmation  Basingstoke and Mid Hants finished 4th
