Some good performances were produced at the South of England Champs at lee Valley over the weekend.
There were wins for Owen Richardson in the U20m 400m with a time of 47.72s beating his nearest competitor by over a second. He ran slightly faster in his heat recording a time of 47.62s. A disqualification in the 200m meant he could not double up.
Ryan Bonifas won the Senior Men’s High Jump with a height of 2.10m.
Andy Blow came second in the 110mH with a time of 14.57s into a head wind and his team mate Tony Higbee came third in 14.63s.
Kierra Barker was second in the U20w Long Jump recording a distance of 5.71m just 2cm behind the winner.
Mair Edwards claimed 3rd place in the U20w 200m with a time of 24.87s after running 24.42s to win her heat race.
Jonty Davidson competed in the 400mH and Pete Watkeys in the 800m but both missed out on the finals.
