Team BMHAC picked up the fastest team prizes at last month's Basingstoke Half Marathon in both Men and Women's categories. Our leading trios were Rob Wood, Tom Harding and Alex Hamilton (1st, 2nd and 7th overall), while our ladies were Tracy Jones, Jeannita Jinks and Sue Burton. Good News!Yesterday Ian Byett and Jackie Tobin attended the National Athletics League AGM in Coventry.To their surprise we as a club were awarded the Chairs award!This was for our support of the league , improving our facilities, putting on a great match and creating a good atmosphere throughout the season.It was about rewarding our volunteers in our community club.It has never been given to a club before!Well done to everyone....Team Manager Ben, athletes, officials, coaches and BDBC.We have the trophy for 1 year and the glass trophy for our club house. ...
